What is the Legacy Touch PIN?

When prints are captured and uploaded to our secure database, you will be provided with a unique, alpha-numeric Personal Identification Number (PIN) assigned to those prints. You may then use the PIN to order customized Jewelry and Keepsakes here on LegacyTouch.com. This unique PIN ensures that the fingerprints used are the correct ones. Just so you can be absolutely sure, we ask you to validate your PIN each time you order and allow you to confirm the initials of you or your Loved One.

Can I see fingerprints on your website?

The prints shown on our website are sample prints and are for illustrative purposes only. Your Loved One's fingerprint images are housed in secure digital storage and are not available for general viewing. If you need access to a copy of your fingerprints, please Contact our Customer Service team.

Legacy Touch Keepsakes Products

Can a personalized Keepsake really be shipped to me in 24 hours?

Our Fingerprint Charms, Pendants, Dog Tags, Pocket Knives, Lapel Pins, and more are all available on 24-hour turnaround ( click here for the complete list).

If you select Express Delivery Service for qualifying products before 12:00pm Central Time on a business day. Your order will be placed in our same-day manufacturing queue. The Keepsakes you ordered will be handcrafted to your specifications and shipped overnight.

We do this to make them available for funerals, visitation services, graduations, births, baptisims, and other meaningful events.

How do I fill my Urn Pendant?

Can I order multiple Fingerprint Keepsakes and have them in time for special events?

That’s the idea behind our Express and Accelerated Delivery Services. We know of no other company that offers Next Business Day turnaround on personalized Keepsakes. For orders that aren't quite as time-critical, but still need a specific delivery date, our Accelerated Delivery Service is great option as well. For gifts such as Bookmarks or Lapel Pins, it’s especially important to be able to deliver multiple products in time for a particular date like graduations, births, baptisms, funerals, and visitations. Our Fingerprint Pendants and Charms, with inscriptions or monograms, are also eligible for these expedited services. Express and Accelerated Delivery Services guarantee a specific delivery date, while Standard Delivery dates are approximate.

How do I care for my Legacy Touch Keepsakes?

Your beautiful Keepsakes are quality heirlooms worth protecting. When not in use, we recommend storing them individually, in an airtight bag to guard from humidity. Avoid all chemicals (including chlorine), which can be damaging to fine metals. Lockets and Urn Pendants carry precious photos and ashes. For this reason, they should not be submerged in water. Quality Jewelry should always be shielded from hairspray, bug spray, lotions, and swimming pools. Care for your Keepsakes, and they will return the favor with many years of cherished connection. Express Delivery Service Guarantees a specific delivery date, while Standard Delivery dates are approximate.

Gold
Lockets can be cleaned with a soft cloth. For other Gold Keepsakes, use warm water and mild dish washing soap. Soak your Gold Keepsake for 20-30 minutes in the solution. Gently clean with a soft cloth or a soft-bristled brush. Rinse with lukewarm water to remove any soap residue. Please, no chlorine or other harsh chemicals or abrasives.

Sterling Silver
Lockets and Urn Pendants can simply be wiped clean with a soft cloth, or a Silver polishing cloth. Rub gently, following the grain of the Silver. All other Sterling Silver Keepsakes can be wiped clean–or treated with Silver tarnish remover, following instructions. Tarnish remover should be followed with a warm soapy wash. Rinse well, and towel dry.

Stainless Steel & Titanium
To clean your Stainless Steel or Titanium Keepsakes, use lukewarm water and mild dish washing soap. Soak your Keepsake in the solution for approx. 5 minutes and then gently buff with a soft cloth. Rinse and allow to dry. Tarnish can be cleaned with a Jewelry polishing cloth. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Brass
To clean your polished Brass Keepsakes, use lukewarm water and mild dish washing soap. Soak your Keepsake in the solution for approx. 5 minutes and then gently buff with a soft cloth. Rinse and allow to dry. Tarnish can be cleaned with a Jewelry polishing cloth. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

How do I know what size Ring to order?

If you don't know your Ring size, we recommend that you visit a local jeweler and ask to be sized, using a comfort-fit band. If possible, it is best to be sized using the same width ring (4mm, 6mm, 7mm, or 8mm) as you plan to order.

eGift Cards

Do I need a PIN to purchase an eGift Card?

A PIN, which uniquely identifies the fingerprint, is not required to purchase an eGift Card; however, a PIN will be required to order a Fingerprint Keepsake. The PIN is created by you or one of our Partner funeral homes when prints are uploaded into our system. Please check with the recipient to ensure that a PIN exists before purchasing a Legacy Touch eGift Card.

What is an eGift Card and how is it different from a regular gift card?

An eGift Card functions just the same as a regular, physical gift card or gift certificate, where an amount is pre-loaded on the card and then redeemed for merchandise. However, eGift Cards have several great advantages, including:

  • – Immediate delivery, directly to your email address, within minutes of payment clearing, 24 hours per day
  • – No shipping costs, no shipping delays, and no holiday order cutoffs
  • – All details saved digitally in email for easy access at any time
  • – Email conveniently links directly to our website for easy ordering

How are eGift Cards delivered?

When you purchase an eGift Card from Legacy Touch, it will be sent directly to your email address. If you would like to give the eGift Card as a gift, you can simply forward the email containing it to the desired recipient.

What if I want to hand-deliver the eGift Card?

No problem. Simply enter your email address in checkout and the eGift Card will be sent to you. Once you receive the email, click the link to view your gift card, which you can then print and hand-deliver at your convenience.

Does a Legacy Touch eGift Card expire?

Legacy Touch eGift Cards never expire. However, if there has been no activity for a period of two years, we may charge a small inactivity fee of $2.00 per month, subject to federal and state laws and regulations.

Can an eGift Card be redeemed for cash?

No. eGift Cards are only redeemable for products and services on our website, www.legacytouch.com.

How is an eGift Card redeemed?

eGift Cards are redeemed by entering the unique code in the space provided during the checkout process - look just above the order subtotal for the box that says "Gift card or discount code", type or copy/paste the code into the field and click apply.

I never received the eGift Card. What should I do?

We work very hard with our email providers to make sure that our emails get delivered with a high degree of reliability. However, sometimes our emails get blocked or flagged as spam or junk by highly sensitive filters. Please check your junk/spam folder and make sure that "legacytouch.com" is on their list of allowed senders (whitelist).

If you didn't receive the eGift Card, or you made a mistake in the email address you provided to us, please call Customer Service toll free at 1-855-802-6800 as soon as possible with your order number and email address.

Can I reload or add value to an eGift Card?

No, our eGift Cards cannot be reloaded or have value added to them. However, it's just as easy to purchase another one and multiple eGift Cards can be redeemed on a single order.

How do I create an account?

How do I edit my account information?

1. Click the My Account icon ( ) at the top right hand side of our site (or in the mobile menu) to login to your account.
2. On the main account page, there are links to update billing and shipping addresses, payment information, email address, password, or even edit a review that you wrote. If you get stuck or have any questions, Contact Us.

I forgot my password.

1. Click the My Account icon ( ) at the top right hand side of our site (or in the mobile menu).
2. Under the login box, click the link that says Forgot your password?
3. Enter the email address you used to set up your account and then type in the letters and/or numbers in the image so we know you're not a robot.
4. This will send an email to you with instructions on resetting your password.

How do I track the status of my order?

1. Click the My Account icon ( ) at the top right hand side of our site to login to your account.
2. Then click Review orders / track packages. If your order status shows as Shipped, find the tracking number and use it to track the shipment via the carrier's website. If you have trouble tracking your order or have any questions, Contact Us.

How do I cancel or change something on my order?

If you just placed your order and realize you made a mistake and need to change something or cancel the order, please call Customer Service toll free at 1-855-802-6800 as soon as possible. Our office hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm CST. Please be aware that once an item has been engraved, we can no longer change or cancel that item.

An item is missing from my shipment.

Occasionally we have to send an order in multiple shipments. For example, if one of your items was ordered with Express Production Service and the others were not, or one of your items has an extended production time. If you don't think this is the case and believe that an item is truly missing, please call Customer Service toll free at 1-855-802-6800 to confirm.

What day will my package arrive so I can be home to sign for it?

Please use the Tracking number to track your shipment via the carrier's website (FedEx) for the most current and accurate data. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number when your order ships, or you can click on the My Account icon ( ) and check your order status there. Please keep in mind that Express Production Service guarantees a specific delivery date, while Standard Production dates are approximate.

Shipping, Warranties, & Returns

Do you ship to my country?

Currently, we ship Legacy Touch Keepsakes to the United States and Canada, but we welcome other international inquiries. Please Contact Us to inquire about special shipping arrangements.

How much does shipping cost?

There is a $20 flat-rate shipping charge for all orders within the United States. Orders shipped to Canada have a flat rate of $39 USD.

When will my order ship?

When your order ships depends on many factors, including product(s) ordered, overall order volume and when the order was placed. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number that will allow you to determine the exact date of delivery.

Do you offer a warranty on your products?

At Legacy Touch, we are committed to providing beautiful, high-quality, personalized Keepsakes. Our Keepsakes are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase except Knives, Lighters, and Cigar Cutters, which carry a manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty. Within the respective warranty periods, Legacy Touch will repair or replace the piece at no cost to the customer.

Because our Fingerprint Keepsake products are custom made and individually personalized for you and your family, they cannot be accepted for return or exchange unless there is a manufacturing error, product defect, or shipping damage.

From design to polishing to packaging, we are committed to exceeding our customers’ expectations. If a Keepsake arrives with a manufacturer’s defect, please contact Customer Service within 48 hours of receipt. We want to help make it right.

The warranty does not cover pieces that have inscription errors made by the customer, pieces that are discolored due to environmental factors, pieces that are discolored due to allergic reactions, pieces that have been abused or neglected by the customer, or worn plating due to use.

Please contact Legacy Touch Customer Service to obtain warranty service by emailing info@legacytouch.com or calling toll free 1-855-802-6800. A Return Material Authorization (RMA), which will be provided by Legacy Touch, is required for all returns/exchanges. Materials must be received within 30 days from the date that the RMA was issued. My Fingerprint Ring doesn't fit. Will resizing it damage the engraved fingerprint?

A licensed Ring jeweler can resize a Legacy Touch Fingerprint Ring within one full size without affecting the integrity of the fingerprint. Legacy Touch can re-size most Rings in half-size increments, larger or smaller; however, our equipment does have some limitations. Please Click Here for Details on Ring Resizing.

How do I return my order?

Legacy Touch Keepsakes are personalized, engraved products, created to your specifications. The only returns we can accept are those that involve manufacturing defects or damage in shipping. In those cases, Contact Us within 48 hours and explain the problem, and we will work to make it right.  You must receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from us to include with your return - any items sent to us without an RMA will not be processed. All RMA items will be shipped via our standard delivery service.

Payment & Billing

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Due to the US Supreme Court decision in Wayfair v. South Dakota, states can now require sales tax on internet purchases, even if the retailer is out of state. As a result, sales tax will be added to most orders and is calculated automatically based on the delivery address. Orders shipping to Canada will be charged PST/HST/GST.

How quickly are transactions processed?

Your credit card or Paypal account is charged when you submit your order. Credits are usually processed within 7-10 days of when we receive your item. Paypal transactions should show up immediately in your Paypal account. Most banks will show credit card transactions within 24 hours.
